Paris in July

Since getting back from Romania and Switzerland after my peritonitis, I've been in Lisbon. In the end, it will be almost 7 weeks of being here without any traveling. Probably the longest period since I moved here 2.5 years ago.

I've loved this time of being at home and having an open calendar. And I've been thinking about how I can keep some elements of this rhythm when I start working again next week.

In July, I will be traveling again. I'm most likely going to Zurich for an ICF retreat. And then go to Paris for EthCC, Osmocon and Nebular Summit. At EthCC, I will be doing a talk about Urbit. And at Nebular Summit, I will be doing a talk about the Staking Economy.

I'm excited to be in Paris and catch up with friends, colleagues and partners. I'm also looking forward to the talks. When I first got into crypto, I gave talks at conferences and meetups regularly. But the last few years, I have avoided giving talks. I found that they took a substantial amount of energy and I wanted to focus my energy elsewhere. I'm a bit nervous, but also excited to do some talks again.
