Audience

I feel very mixed about having an audience, having people who actually read these posts. On the one hand, I write completely differently if I write a blog post versus something that nobody else will read. And I always liked when people would tell me that they read and like some of the posts.

At the same time, I want writing to feel easy and free. And if I imagine how others will perceive what I write, it adds pressure. It feels like it matters. And it's not so light anymore.

In the past, I would force myself to publish posts that seemed obviously bad. Having published something bad would lower the bar for me and make it easier again.
