Struggle And Ease
Doing something that will have an impact is not easy. One has to try things and fail. One has to work hard. One has to be creative and resourceful. One has to persevere.
From the outside this looks like struggle. And most often, it feels like a struggle for that person too.
The outer struggle is inevitable. But the inner struggle is entirely unnecessary. It arises from things like fear of failure and lack of self-acceptance.
These are dysfunctional patterns. And I believe they can can all be resolved. When they are, one can be in the midst of what looks like great struggle, but operate from a place of ease.
In my view, this is the desirable state to strive for. Not just to reduce suffering, but also because the best performance results from a state of ease.
